The Knesset Finance Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing, Tuesday, on a request by Treasurer Yuval Steinitz to raise the retirement age for women from 62 to 64.

Israel Defense Forces Radio reports that the proposal does not have the support of the majority of Knesset members. A similar resolution was recently defeated.
