Communications Minister Moshe Cachlon wrote a letter to the heads of cellular-telephone companies, Sunday, in which he asked for their help in fighting the growing phenomenon of cellular-phone thefts.

The letter followed a similar request from the Israel Police, who told Cachlon that the problem was getting to be serious.
