U.S. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Saturday that Iran would achieve its goal of acquiring nuclear weapons if Barack H. Obama was reelected. “If we re-elect Barack Obama, Iran will get a nuclear weapon,” he said, adding that “if we elect Mitt Romney, Iran will not.”
Romney made the comment during the CBS News/National Journal foreign policy debate.
