The New York State Supreme Court appellate division has turned down an appeal from defense lawyers to move the trial of accused child murderer Levi Aron from Brooklyn. He is charged with dismembering the body of eight-year-old Leiby Kletzky after murdering him.

His attorneys argued that Aron could not receive a fair trial in Brooklyn because of publicity surrounding the case. Brooklyn prosecutors successfully argued that "there are nearly 500,000 people eligible for jury duty in Brooklyn.”
