Rabbi Dov Lior of the Judean Jewish city of Kiryat Arba told ministers and Knesset members, Monday, that it was a fundamental mistake to call a Jewish outpost community an Arab area. The rabbi was speaking on behalf of Jewish communities and neighborhoods in Judea and Samaria that face demolition because the Supreme Court has determined that they are built on Arab areas.
Rabbi Lior said Israel liberated land that were distributed by Jordan to the Arabs who claim it. He said those Arabs should be compensated but the Jewish communities on the land should not be demolished. He told the politicians to stand up for the communities and be remembered among those who prevented a tragedy.
