Rabbis Decide on Steps Against Demolitions

Three rabbis associated with the National Union party and three from the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) said, Sunday evening, that they had decided on central action steps "to bring about a moral, determined decision in favor of the settlement enterprise and prevent any destruction of homes and expulsion of their inhabitants." The rabbis also expressed concern about the impending government destruction of a number of communities in Judea and Samaria to conform to a ruling by the Supreme Court.

The rabbis spoke following a meeting that focused on the threat to the Binyamin-region communities of Amona, Giv'at Assaf and Migron, as well as the Ulpana (Girls' Religious High School) neighborhood in Beit El.
