Police in New York arrested about 20 Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in Lower Manhattan, as police attempted to force a slow moving group off the sidewalk in front of the State Supreme Court building in order to allow a van holding prisoners to proceed to the building. Most of the protesters cooperated, but a group of about 200 refused.
Police attempted to persuade them to move, and when they refused, began arresting people.
