Heavy rain and snowstorms tied up traffic in Lebanon on Thursday. The Lebanese army was forced to rescue 30 motorists, who were stranded in the northern city of Bsharri.

Heavy rain and thunder is forecast for Friday and Saturday, with snow as low as 1,700 meters on Friday and 1,500 meters on Saturday, according to the Lebanese Daily Star.
