A corruption indictment in the Holyland case will be filed against former prime minister Ehud Olmert without a pre-indictment hearing. The State Prosecutor's Office refused, Thursday evening, to give Olmert's attorney's another delay in the hearing.
Olmert is one of 18 people charged with bribery in the zoning of the Holyland real estate development, near the southern end of the Begin Boulevard Freeway in Jerusalem. The charges stem from his term as mayor. Olmert is currently on trial for a number of charges connected to his tenure prime minister and in lower cabinet posts.
