Group: More Security for Jerusalem Light Rail

Yossi Saidov of the group "15 minutes, the organization of public transportation consumers in Jerusalem" said, Thursday, that more security is needed for Jerusalem's light rail system. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, He noted that the United States consulate made a similar warning when the light rail started and that access to the trains is easy, making them a prime target for terror attacks.

Saidov said nobody is taking responsiblity for security, explaining that Citipas, the light rail operator, refers security questions to the municipality, which refers them to the Transportation Ministry, none of whom is an expert at security.
