Thursday will be ‘Dead Sea Day’ across Israel, in an attempt to promote the Dead Sea in the New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign. Voting booths will be put up in cities nationwide in which citizens can vote for the Dead Sea in the ‘7 Wonders’ campaign, which is to end next Friday.
The Dead Sea is currently in the top 28 sites out of hundreds.
The mayors of Haifa, Tel Aviv and Ashdod plan to visit booths in their cities. Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov will visit the Tel Aviv voting station as well.
