IDF Troops Clean Up Elazar Hacohen's Tomb

IDF troops entered the Arab village of Awarta in Samaria Monday afternoon and cleaned off anti-Israel and anti-Semitic graffiti off the tomb of Elazar Hacohen in the village. Breslov Hassidim who had visited the site earlier Monday discovered that it had been desecrated by local Arabs, who drew grafitti and attempted to damage the site. The graffiti included calls to release the murderers of the Fogel family of Itamar, and to fire rockets at Israel.

Arabs threw firebombs at IDF soldiers as the latter finished their cleanup mission and left the site. Soldiers responded using means to break up riots.
