Ministers Reject Rent Control

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation rejected, Monday, a rent-control bill by Member of Knesset Shlomo Molla (Kadima) that sought to prevent unacceptably high or overly frequent increases in the rental prices for apartments.

Molla said the vote did not take this year's social justice protest into account and shows the government's scorn for its citizens. He said, "In addition to spitting in the face of the protesters, it does not provide any good news."
