      Weinroth, Vita Acquitted

      The Tel Aviv District Court acquitted prominent attorney Ya'akov Weinroth and former senior Tax Authority official Shuki Vita on charges of bribery. Weinroth was also acquitted on money-laundering charges while Vita was convicted on a charge of breach of trust.

      Weinroth was accused of providing Vita with no cost or low cost legal services in exchange for favorable terms for Weinroth's clients, including businessman Michael Chernoy and Arcadi Gaydamak.
