Rabbi Elon Refuses Plea Bargain

Rabbi Mordechai Elon rejected, Sunday evening, a plea-bargain offered last week by prosecutors on allegations of indecent acts. The deal included no jail time and included lesser charges than originally presented, although it would require the rabbi to withdraw from the line he has consistently presented so far that the incidents attributed to him never happened.

People close to Rabbi Elon are sure that he is right and say it is not a case of indecent acts but indecent and ugly interpretation of the acts of a righteous man. They say he has not violated any law and there is no reason for him to confess any violation in any legal framework.
