Libya to Try Qaddafi Lynchers

The transitional governing council in Libya announced, on Thursday, that those responsible for lynching former dictator Muammar Qaddafi will stand trial.

The United States announced that 32 Libyans who were wounded in the rebellion will be sent to the U.S. and Germany for treatment of their wounds. A joint statement by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the 26 Libyans to be treated in Boston and the six to be treated in Germany have conditions that cannot be treated in their home country.
