A 13 year-old Turkish boy was rescued alive from the ruins of an apartment building overnight Thursday, more than 108 hours after the building collapsed in the strong earthquake that hit Turkey earlier this week.

The official death toll from the earthquake stands at 534 people. Thousands have been left homeless.
