Science Minister Daniel Hershkowitz told Chairman Avi Roeh of the Binyamin Regional Council and residents of the Jewish communit of Amona,Thursday, that he had the impression Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was trying to find solutions to prevent demolitions that threaten a number of communities throughout Judea and Samaria. During a tour of Amona, the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home/New National Religious Party) chairman said he made clear to Netanyahu how big an injustice faces the communities during an urgent meeting following Hershowitz's visit to the Ulpana (Religious Girls' High School) neighborhood in Beit El, one of the threatened communities.

The Technion mathematics professor said he brings the matter up in all relevant government forums and doesn't intent to desist. Rabbi Hershkowitz added that many ministers who love the land of Israel can be recruited on behalf of the communities.
