Private Plane Off to Egypt to Get Grapel

A private plane left Israel, Thursday afternoon, for Egypt, to bring back American-Israeli Ilan Grapel, who has been held for months on charges of espionage. On the plane were Member of Knesset Yisrael Hasson and Yitchak Molcho, the envoy of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who brokered Grapel's release. They are expected to bring Grapel to Ben Gurion Airport between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.

The 25 Egyptian prisoners who were released in the deal have arrived at the Taba crossing, south of Eilat, Their transfer to Egyptian authorities is expected to be completed after 5:00 p.m.
