Saif al-Islam Qaddafi, son of former Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, is near one of the country’s borders and is likely to try to escape to Niger or Algeria, a source in the National Transition Council said on Monday.

According to the source, Saif al-Islam is carrying a fake passport that was given to him by one of his supporters, who was previously head of Libyan intelligence.
