Avigdor Eskin Convicted of Illegal Wiretapping

The Jerusalem Magistrates Court found right-wing activist, journalist and lecturer Avigdor Eskin guilty, Monday, of illegally wiretapping the telephone of the secretary of businessman Michael Chernoy.

Eskin confessed to the charges. Under a plea-bargain, the prosecution will ask that Eskin do six months of public service and pay a 20,000-shekel fine.
