A soldier in an elite Israel Defense Forces unit that arrests terrorists expressed frustration, Sunday, at last week's deal to release 1,027 security prisoners, including murderers for Gilad Shalit. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, the soldier, identified as D, asked "Why did we put ourselves at risk almost every night and now they're releasing them?" He added that the terrorists his unit arrested were murderers and not just rock or firebomb throwers.
Asked about the claim that the Shalit deal shows that Israel will do its utmost for soldier that are taken prisoner, D called it "Nonsense!" adding that he, other members of his unit and members of other units did not want terrorists released for them.
