Netanyahu: After Shalit, Back to Normal

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu summarized the Shalit deal for ministers at Sunday's cabinet meeting, sharing with them the details of the deal and the decision making process that led to the release of over 1,000 terrorists in exchange for Shalit. Netanyahu thanked ministers for their help and support in passing a difficult decision that enabled the state to bring Shalit home alive, the Prime Minister told ministers.

“After an extraordinary two weeks of unity we continue to deal with challenges that we have begun to deal with in the past two and a half years. We are now returning to our normal work,” Netanyahu said.
