Terrorists Deny Mistreating Shalit

The head of the Popular Resistance Committees terror group told Arabic newspaper Al Hayat, Thursday, that soldier Gilad Shalit "was held in good and humane conditions, better than the ones in which Israel holds our prisoners. He watched television and listened to the radio, and we carefully maintained his medical physical condition and his mental condition."

Gilad's father, Noam, told reporters, Thursday, that his son had encountered "harsh things" during more than five years of captivity, adding that more details would follow. The newly-released hostage was seen riding his bicycle, accompanied by representatives of the Israel Defense Forces, during the day on Thursday.
