Middle East expert David Bokai said, Thursday evening, that he was concerned the elimination of former Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi expressed a trend in the region which was not good. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew Service, the Haifa University instructor said, "The behavior of the powers of Europe and the United States in bringing down the Qaddafi regime was childish or even stupid."
Dr. Bokai called all the stories about the "popular Arab Spring" "pathetic", noting, "There's anarchy, a lack of order and a lack of organization. The best alternative in an Arabic country for Israel is a military regime. It's not nice but the alternatives are not as good." He said the Al-Qaeda terror network was on its way to taking over, adding that the region was going to be less stable and more radical.
