New Jordan PM Putting Together Government

Jordan's new prime minister, Awn Khasawneh, has begun putting together a new government, which he will present to King Abdullah II over the weekend. Sources in Amman said that  Khasawneh has been meeting with opposition figures and the former prime minister, seeking partners for the new coalition.

Khasawneh, 61, is a former judge who served in the International Court of Justice in the Hague. He announced after being appointed this week that he intended to include Islamists in his government.
