Ben-Gvir Arrested, Released over Protest

Parliamentary aide and long-time land of Israel activist Itamar Ben-Gvir has been released from police custody after being arrested earlier in the day. Ben-Gvir was detained for allegedly taking part in an unauthorized demonstration.

The demonstration in question took place outside the Sharon Prison, where Ben-Gvir and others protested the mass release of terrorists in exchange for Gilad Shalit.
