Legendary gabbai (synagogue sexton) Yosef Vitelson passed away Monday evening in Jerusalem. His age was estimated at 80.

Vitelson's funeral is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Har Hamenuchot cemetery in the Giv'at Shaul section of the capital.
