Kara: Israel Sent Four Species to Syrian Jews

Member of Knesset Ayoub Kara announced, Sunday, that Israel shipped four species of Israeli agriculture goods to Syria to help the small Syrian Jewish community observe the Sukkot holiday. He was addressing a memorial observance attended by tens of thousands in the central Israeli community of Zeitan.

The Deputy Minister for Development of the Negev and Galilee said that by virtue of the deal to free 1,027 prisoners for abducted soldier Gilad Shalit, the government was telling the families of abducted or missing action that hope was not lost and that the government was still working on finding and freeing their sons.
