Edelstein: PM's Ears Open on Demolition Pleas

Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Minister Yuli-Yoel Edelstein told Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Sunday, that he is against the demolition of hundreds of Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria that could start after this week's end of the Sukkot holiday. The two spoke by telephone during a visit by Edelstein to the Ulpana (religious girls' high school) neighborhood in the Binyamin-region Jewish community of Beit El. After the call, the Likud lawmaker said "I knew my words were heard by receptive ears."

Edelstein said demolitions were unthinkable, and the right decisions had to be made to authorize the threatened homes so that their occupants could continue with their lives.
