Rabin Vandal Orphan of Sbarro Victims

Police have identified the man responsible for the Thursday evening vandalism of the Yitzchak Rabin memorial in Tel Aviv as a 27-year-old from Giv'at Sh'muel, whose parents were killed in the Sbarro restaurant bombing in Jerusalem in 2001. The man confessed to spray painting "Price Tag" and "Free Yigal Amir" on the memorial and pouring white paint next to it, adding that he did it "on an ideological backdrop", according to a police announcement. The suspect was released because of the personal circumstances but legal proceedings against him will continue.
