Abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit is scheduled to meet his family on Tuesday at the Tel Nof Air Force Base near Rechovot, according to a Thursday evening report by Channel 2 television.

The information was among the details of the release deal transmitted to the Shalit family by Chief of Staff Benny Gantz of the Israel Defense Forces during a Thursday-evening visit to their home in the western Galilee community of Mitzpeh Hila. Shalit's flight home will originate at an Egyptian air force base.
