Defense Minister Ehud Barak was presented with a set of the “four species” (arbat haminim) Tuesday by IDF Chief Rabbi Rafi Peretz. The gift was given in Barak’s office in Tel Aviv.
The four species are waved on the Sukkot holiday, and are said to represent the Jewish people. Sukkot begins on Wednesday evening.
