Prices were mixed as the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange opened on Tuesday. The TA composite was down .05 percent at 961.17, while a similar percentage drop meant an opening posting of 973.59 for the TA 100, including a .1 percent drop by the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues to 1,076.70. The oil and natural gas stocks opened at 1,053.38, down .01 percent, and the media/communications index declined .21 percent to 792.41.
Leading the gainers were the real estate stocks, which checked in at 272.44, up .74 percent, followed by the insurance issues at .26 percent at 1,091.83 as the financial institutions rose .09 percent to 918.79. Most of the technology stocks were up .26 percent at 262.76,while the biomed issues checked in at 683.34, up .05 percent.
