Weather: Extreme Heat Followed by Extreme Cooling


Sharav extreme heat conditions are forecast for Monday, accompanied by desert winds up to 30kilometers/20miles an hour and low humidity. People are asked to be careful with fire. The evening will bring cooler, moister air, making for a signicant drop in temperatures on Tuesday. Very light rain is expected Tuesday evening, mainly in the north and along the Mediterranean coastal plain. Scattered rain, including thunderstorms in the north, is expected Wednesday as temperatures drop below normal through the start of the Sukkot holiday on Thursday. There's a possibility of very light rain over the coastal plain Thursday morning.
