Israeli Delegation to Cairo

An Israeli delegation arrived in Egypt on Sunday for a new round of talks with Egyptian officials regarding last month's attacks on the Israeli embassy and diplomatic developments on the Israel-Palestinian Authority front, according to the semi-official Cairo daily Al-Ahram. The release of American-Israel Ilan Grapel could make its way to the angenda.

The September 9th mass protests ended in chaos after demonstrators headed to the Israeli embassy, ‎brought down a wall in front of the building and ‎broke into one of the embassy’s offices.‎ Three people ‎were killed as clashes with Egyptian forces continued and the ambassador flew home.‎ The ambassador returned to Egypt after tensions cooled down, and ‎talks between both countries have been underway since shortly after the clashes.
