Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange posted moderate losses at the end of the first day of the trading week on Sunday. The TA composite index declined 1.19 percent to 927.63. The same percentage drop meant a 760.08 close for the media and communications stocks. With the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues falling 1.41 percent to 1,035.08, the TA 100 finished the day at 937.98, down 1.25 percent.
Worst hit was the oil and natural gas index, which fell 2.13 percent to 996.64. The lone bright spot was the biomed index, which gained .36 percent to 670.93, while the rest of the technology stocks closed at 254.22, down .87 percent.
