The residents of Efrat are requesting once again that the construction on the northern Efrat Regional Council Eitam Hill. After a prolonged battle launched in 2008 by the heads of the council, residents of Efrat and Women in Green, the hill was declared state land for the construction of 2500 housing units, which has yet to begin.
This Sukkot, Efrat residents will gather on the hill for a holiday celebration, in anticipation of the construction.
The Eitam spring flowed to the Temple in Jerusalem, from an elevation of about 40 feet higher that the Temple mount via aqueduct and gravity.
