Iran Threatens Turkey

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's military advisor Yahya Rahim Safavi warned Turkey that if it does not change its "erroneous" policy towards Iran, its standing in the region will suffer, the Iranian news agency Mehr reported.

According to the report, the top advisor said that if Anakara does not distance itself from its hostile attitude, which aims to please the United States, "The Turkish people will turn against it, and Syria, Iran and Iraq will reexamine their ties with it."
