The cabinet will vote, Monday, on recommendations made by the Trajtenberg Committee on socioeconomic change. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu opened the cabinet meeting by saying, "The citizens of Israel should know that today we are changing priorities in a responsible way." He added that the mission is to reduce the cost of living without "stretching the overdraft of the state." Netanyahu said that after adopting the principles of the committee's report, the cabinet will deal with individual recommendations.
