Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed Israel and the United States directly for the deaths of Iranian nuclear scientists in Tehran, which he called "terror campaigns against our nuclear scientists". During a public address in Tehran, he accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) - which he said was dominated by the U.S. - of publicizing the names of the scientists, which enabled them to be harmed.
In January, Ahmadinejad used the words "Zionist method" to describe the manner in which a bomb was placed to kill nuclear scientist Masoud Mohammadi.
