The Tel Aviv Magistrates Court convicted officers Yishai Siman-Tov and Azar Mansour of the Yiftach District Yassam (police special forces) unit, on Tuesday, on charges of aggravated assault, fraud and breach of trust stemming from a September 2008 attack on a Jaffa (Yafo) resident.

The two were accused by the Police Investigation Unit of arresting the victim on suspicion of possessing stolen property and taking him to a police station, where they allegedly beat and kicked him.
