Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock exchange started trading, Tuesday, with modest to sharp gains. Just before 10:00 a.m., the TA composite index was up 1.31 percent at 951.57.
Leading the way were the real estate issues, which started off at 265.26, up 2.55 percent, followed by the oil and natural gas stocks, which rose 2.41 percent to 909.26. The financial institutions, started at 927.21, up an even two percent. Despite losses on the order of .57 by the biomed stocks, the technology index was up .54 percent at 251.71.
