Government Arabic Media Heads Chosen

The Bids Committee of the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) unanimously selected veteran reporter Shlomo Ganor, on Sunday, to head Israel's Arabic television. It's another term in the post for Ganor, who has held journalistic and management positions in both the Hebrew and Arabic broadcast services.

A unanimous vote was also reported in the selection of Yasir Atila to manage the Kol Yisrael's Arabic radio service. Atila started with the IBA in 1994 and, like Ganor, has held a variety of journalistic and management positions.
