The Tel Aviv District Labor Court ordered employees of the Israel Railways to return to work immediately on Friday, in a followup to the order declared Thursday evening, after sanctions carried out by workers during the day. Judge Efrat Lakser ruled that a strike about a decision to outsource work was political and not economic.

The railroad's employees committee plans to appeal the decision to the National Labor Court.
