The ISA and police have arrested a number of Israeli Arabs from the northern village of Daburiya, suspected of planning terrorist attacks.
They intended to attack an IDF soldier and a border patrolman and spotted servicemen from whom they could take personal weapons.
The group belong to the ‘Salfiyeh Jahadiyeh’ radical Islamist sect, who preach a return to fundamental Islamic practices, and a violent uprising against Israel and western regimes.
