An anti-corruption police unit has nabbed a 43-year-old resident of Lod for selling an apartment that did not belong to him. The man used a fake identity card to pull off the 450,000 shekel sale.

The ruse was revealed when the apartment’s true owner discovered that the property had been listed under a second name.
