A resident of Modi'in Illit reported Tuesday evening that he found a suspicious bag near a public telephone in the city. Sappers who arrived on the scene found in the bag wires, a clock and a metallic box with grenades, fireworks and ammunition.
The contents of the bag were taken for examination. Police are investigating.
