Ahead of the Palestinian bid for recognition as a sovereign state at the United Nations, the Binyamin Regional Council has decided to fly Israeli flags and council flags throughout the region.

A regional representative told Arutz Sheva, Tuesday morning, "The air of Independence Day strengthens the residents and sends a clear message to the world that Israel is here."
