The senior division of the Gush Etzion Regional School in Alon Shvut, which numbers about 1,000 students, will be shut down starting Tuesday and until further notice, following a decision by the Ministry of Education to bring a new principal to the school.

The shutdown was initiated by school parents who plan to demonstrate against the appointment of the new principal on Tuesday morning in front of the school. Parents will call on the Education Ministry to leave the current school director in place.
